During this time our human’s call Covid, we seem to be changing things in the house quite a lot. The walls have changed colours, doors have been changed, and there have been lots of changes in the room where our humans spray water all over themselves (and sometimes us). Things have also changed in the garden.
We don’t mind this as we get hang out with our humans whilst they change things, and we also get to help them go to the shop where they buy all the stuff that makes the changes. We think they call it Bunnings.
We love going to this shop as the people are really friendly, there is always a bowl of fresh water out the front, and the floors are lovely and cool. Sometimes we meet other dogs, and we always meet lots of new people who like to rub our fur.
One time when we were in this shop we were helping our humans buy paint, and we saw the most enormous dog sitting on top of a very high shelf. We barked and barked and this dog didn’t move – it didn’t move the whole time we were there! After a while we realised we couldn’t smell it, and thought maybe it wasn’t a real dog after all. We don’t bark at it any more.
Scoot loves going to the plant section of this shop and when she is there she crawls on her belly under the plant racks and rolls around in the cool mud. Our human tries to call her out but sometimes Scoot just ignores her.
We also like to smell all the things in the gardening aisle, but we are not allowed to touch anything.
We think this is a great outing for dogs especially whilst other travel is limited. There is a lot to smell, people are friendly, there are other dogs and it is nice and cool.
Highly recommended.
